Job Description

Senior Campaign Activism Advisor 

Location-any major FoE office (Belfast, Birmingham, Brighton, Bristol, Cardiff, Leeds, London, Manchester)  

Our Campaign Activism team have an amazing opportunity for a Senior Campaign Activism Advisor to come and help shape the people-powered focus of Friends of the Earth’s big campaigns.  

The key purpose of this role is to help empower people across the country to get active and achieve real world change. Ensuring we engage large numbers of people, deepen their engagement, diversify our grassroots and build our movement-powered organisation.  The Senior Campaign Activism Advisor will also guide and manage a small team.  

We are looking for someone with a firm grasp of what makes a winning campaign strategy, a track record of successful outreach to new and diverse audiences, and experience of leading key projects with organisational wide significance. 

Strong communication, facilitation and team work skills is essential with the ability to write compelling copy and content across a variety of resources. You will also need demonstrable experience of running workshops, developing skills and leadership in others.

The Campaign Activism team shape and deliver our priority campaigns to ensure that we are always growing and deepening our activist network and putting people power at the heart of everything we do.  

We work across campaign teams and our local group and individual supporter network to co-create campaign strategies and supporter journeys, and deliver training, events, digital support, leadership development and facilitate peer support. We also work across the sector to help Friends of the Earth stay at the forefront of new activism tools and techniques, and to build a strong and diverse movement for change.
