Job Description

We are seeking to appoint an experienced Director of Finance and Operations to join our senior leadership team.

As a core member of the senior leadership team you will play a strategic role in the overall leadership and management of Friends of the Earth.  This role has the responsibility of ensuring that Friends of the Earth’s operations are efficient, effective and integrated across our finance and operations functions.

We are looking for a qualified accountant with significant leadership experience and ability to lead organisational cultural change at senior level. You will have considerable leadership experience of strategic financial planning and implementation as well as forecasting, budgeting and reporting in a complex organisation. You will also have the ability to ensure we have systems in place for attracting, supporting, developing and retaining talented people, including improving our systems and culture around performance management, learning and development and internal communications.

This is an excellent opportunity to join Friends of the Earth Senior Leadership Team and be a key part in driving our financial and operational performance to support a great campaigning organisation.
