Philanthropy Officer

Contract Type
Permanent
Salary
£29,000 to £32,000 per year
Job Description

We have an exciting opportunity for a creative and resourceful Philanthropy Officer to join our Major Partnerships team.

The Major Partnerships team at Friends of the Earth manages over £5 million of relationships with major and high value donors, trusts and statutory funders, corporate partners, and donations from legacies. We are a fun, knowledgeable and committed team that is looking to bring in new skills to help us harness the potential within our donor pool.

You will be directly responsible for the implementation of the high value programme – a recently established programme for donors who sit between individual giving and major gifts. This will include meeting income targets by designing, crafting and executing written and one-to-one appeals, engaging and stewarding existing donors, and researching and cultivating new donors.

We‘re looking for someone who is creative and resourceful and who can come up with hugely appealing donor propositions. You’ll be skilled in managing large, segmented donor pools but also be personable and comfortable stewarding our top tier high value donors on a one-to-one basis. You’ll also love working collaboratively to develop and finesse the programme with colleagues. If you’re excited by this opportunity, then please do get in touch.
