The Campaign Activism team shape and deliver our priority campaigns to ensure that we are always growing and deepening our activist network and putting people power and climate justice at the heart of everything we do.

We work across campaign teams to co-create campaign strategies and strengthen our movement. We design and deliver training and events, provide digital and campaigning support, and facilitate peer learning. We also work across the sector to help Friends of the Earth stay at the forefront of new activism tools and techniques, and to build a strong and diverse movement for change.

As Campaign Activism Advisor, you’ll ensure our grassroots network is central to winning our campaigns, whilst trialling new ways of mobilising and bringing people together to take action locally, nationally and internationally. You will play an active role in building and supporting our new Climate Action Groups , working closely with regional organisers to ensure activists have the skills, knowledge and confidence to win campaigns locally and contribute to national change.

The Campaign Activism Advisor must have a deep understanding of a variety of people-powered campaigning tactics and the ability to coordinate these activities centrally. We are looking for a confident communicator with experience of designing and delivering training for grassroots networks. This includes working directly with groups and activists which will sometimes require evening and weekend work.

Solid project management and a working knowledge of monitoring and evaluation is key, as you juggle the demands of a multi-campaign organisation and respond rapidly and effectively to changing external circumstances.
