The Plastics Campaigner will sit within Friends of the Earth’s plastic pollution campaign team and work closely with Friends of the Earth’s marketing and major partnerships teams to lead a programme of work aimed at tackling the use of throw-away plastic in the take-away and restaurant industry.
The Plastics Campaigner will develop, and account manage partnerships with a network of influential businesses in the take-away and restaurant sector. Using the insight and influence of these partners to drive widespread consumer rejection of single-use plastics through marketing campaigns and scaling up of reuse schemes.
You will work across all departments in Friends of the Earth and with external stakeholders to fulfil our vision of a world where businesses play a greater role in bringing about positive social and environmental change.
We’re looking for an effective account manager with experience of delivering integrated marketing campaigns. You will also need a sound understanding of Corporate Sustainability and Social Responsibility, along with experience of working cross-departmentally to deliver the marketing and reporting objectives of a commercial/brand/NGO partnership.
