Philanthropy Officer

We have an exciting opportunity for a Philanthropy Officer to join our Major Partnerships team.

The Major Partnerships team manages over £5 million of relationships with major and high value donors, trusts and statutory funders, corporate partners, and donations from legacies. We are a fun, knowledgeable and committed team that is looking to bring in new skills to help us harness the potential within our donor pool.

You will be taking over the day-to-day operations of our high value programme, which manages donors who sit between our individual givers and our major donors. You will be directly responsible for the programme’s implementation, including producing fundraising appeals, providing stewardship, ongoing tracking against KPIs and ensuring a smooth and integrated supporter journey alongside colleagues in the Individual Giving team and the rest of the Major Partnerships team.

We’re looking for someone who is creative and resourceful and who can come up with hugely appealing donor propositions. You will be skilled in written and email communications, managing large, segmented donor pools but also be personable and comfortable stewarding our top tier high value donors on a one-to-one basis. You will also love working collaboratively to develop and finesse the programme with colleagues.
