We are looking for an International Activism Officer to join our Campaign Activism Team on a fixed term contract.  The main purpose of this role is to identify, implement, test, and evaluate approaches to international campaigning.

As our International Activism Officer, you will be engaging with the Friends of the Earth International federation, and our European network, to identify threats faced by environmental human rights defenders. You will work with colleagues across the organisation to ensure a rapid and appropriate reaction to urgent threats through various channels, whilst leading trials for new international activism approaches.

This role requires demonstrable experience in international campaigning, preferably with a background in human rights and/or the environment. You will also need to have experience in enabling campaigning at grassroots level, managing complex relationships including in multiple countries, and working with diverse communities of people.

The Campaign Activism team supports communities to connect and deliver change. It is an exciting time to join the team and we hope to have more impact than ever before in connecting with our international network.
