If you are an experienced fundraiser, with a solid grasp of supporter motivations and a passion for delivering excellent supporter experience, then this is an exciting opportunity for you.
You will need strong managerial, budgeting, planning and analytical skills; as well as the ability to build strong relationships with colleagues across the organisation.
The post-holder also needs to be a person who has enthusiasm to learn, develop and share learnings across the team.
The role is in the supportive and friendly Individual Giving (IG) team, which sits within the Income Generation directorate at FOE. The IG team raises over £7m a year through a variety of Supporter Recruitment and Experience initiatives.
The programme covers a diverse range of activities and techniques. This includes Supporter Recruitment activity such online paid media and promoting products such as our Bee Saver Kits, as well as a testing programme for new activity. Our Supporter Experience programme includes cash appeals, upgrades, reactivation, supporter magazines, e-appeals, and retention activity. The programme has evolved hugely over the past few years, with a big increase in our digital activity.
Experience in engaging existing donors via digital activity is a must. We recruit regular givers and cash givers and convert existing non-financial supporters to donors. We collaborate closely with campaign and marketing teams to create compelling and integrated plans.
The team is made up of: Head of IG, Innovation Manager, Supporter Recruitment Manager, Supporter Experience Manager and 4 x Individual Giving Officers
Each Individual Giving Officer manages a selection of projects across recruitment and experience, rotating on an annual basis as agreed across the team. The Supporter Experience Manager line-manages two Individual Giving Officers and project sponsors all Supporter Experience projects.
